Join Chicago Honey Co-op and Slow Food Chicago on June 19 for our Sweet Summer Solstice! A highlight of our calendar every year, the Summer Solstice Potluck is a community picnic at Rancho Verde, the LEED-certified headquarters of Christy Webber Landscapes.

We'll provide a main course and beverages, you can bring chairs or a blanket, and a potluck dish for sharing  salad, side dish or dessert.

Tours will be offered of the Chicago Honey Co-op bee-hives installed on the green roof, or just mingle, play games, craft, take a swing on the swing set, pet a miniature donkey or feed the goats -- it's a great family-friendly event!

We'll also be pouring beer, wine and a special summer cocktail provided by Fig Catering.

Plus, a raffle where you can win dinner, beer, and other fantastic treats.

Proceeds will benefit the Chicago Honey Co-op Training Center and Slow Food Chicago programs, such as the PreSERVE Garden, a community based garden run with our partners, Chicago Honey Coop, North Lawndale Greening Committee, and NeighborSpace.
